An Aging Parent (Poem-from a Caregiver)

Hasn’t it been apparent that she’s an aging parent. When she shuffles her feet and walks a little slow, just know that she’s an aging parent. When she gets a little grumpy or mad, don’t get angry or sad, just forgive her for she’s an aging parent. When she tells old stories again and again just listen and be patient, for she’s an aging parent. When her mind isn’t what it used to be, just show her Grace, Mercy, and walk in Love towards her for SHE’S AN AGING PARENT. Again I say, Forgive her, listen to her and be patient with her. Show her Mercy, Grace, and and walk in Love towards her, for SHE’S AN AGING PARENT! Lord, help me with my aging parent!
